Human Kind is a company that connects investors with social impact initiatives to provide capital for growth. Their mission is to bring visibility to social impact initiatives across the globe and provide a platform for users to create and manage campaigns to generate funding, think kickstarter for social good. I was fortunate to work with them on defining the website for mobile & desktop alongside the branding of the company.

THE PROBLEM AT HAND

Human Kind was formed serval years ago but it lacked any type of branding or style guide. Its online presence was minimal but its mission was big. They needed to build a cohesive identity that would attract investors and provide a platform for users to search out organizations to partner with. The brand needed to appeal to not only investment capital organizations and people but also be accessible for the companies & organizations looking to fund their campaign.

We needed to create an experience that spoke to the brand's mission but also created a seamless functionality for users to create and launch campaigns. We focused on the 2 main user journeys of launching a campaign and subscribing or backing a campaign as the project's first phase. The project's second phase would include a blog, social media and content that would tell the full story. I worked on designing both the experiences for mobile and desktop and to establish branding and style guidelines.
